LHI Tip of the Week – Halfway There!

Week 5 of the 10 Week Wellness Challenge is well underway and it’s time to re-evaluate the goals you set way back in week 1! Are you where you expected you would be halfway through the challenge?

If you are, great job! You are on track to accomplish your goals by the end of week 10. Take time this week to reflect on what has been working for you since you started this challenge. What can you add or alter in your routine for variety so you don’t get bored? What events or activities do you have coming up that may require some extra planning so you don’t fall of the wagon? Revisit your S.M.A.R.T. goals and the reasons why you decided to start living a healthier lifestyle. You are an inspiration to your teammates, friends, family and fellow Iowans! Keep up the great work!

If you’re a little behind in your progress, that’s ok! The important thing is that you aren’t giving up. Take time this week to reflect on your S.M.A.R.T. goals and what obstacles you have encountered until this point that may have put you off track. What changes can you make in your daily routine to overcome these obstacles? Reach out to your teammates and your support system for healthy tips and ideas to keep you moving forward. Re-assess your S.M.A.R.T. goals for what is achievable over the next half of the challenge. You are doing a great job!

No matter how little or how great your progress has been during the first half of the challenge, you have made a huge accomplishment by committing to the 10 Week Wellness Challenge and making healthier lifestyle choices. Look for your progress in your level of energy, positive attitude, glowing skin, sleeping habits, weight loss and muscle tone! We at Live Healthy Iowa, your teammates, friends, family, co-workers, etc. are so proud of YOU and are so excited to continue the second half of this journey together!
