We like to call these revelations “AHA moments.” When all of a sudden you discover a positive effect from your healthy lifestyle.
AHA moments are great rewards for your hard work and persistence to live healthy. Sometimes we may feel like we’ve hit a plateau in our progress and just cant seem to get passed it, but it is important to look for changes in other areas of ourselves rather than the numbers. Have you felt more awake and alert during the day because you’re sleeping better at night? Have you found yourself making healthy choices out of habit rather than conscious thought? Do you feel more confident in yourself as you interact with others? These can all be positive effects of living a healthier lifestyle. Try to focus on how you feel throughout the day and on any new feelings or habits. AHA moments like these keep us motivated to continue making healthy choices to reach our goals and beyond.
