Participating in a wellness challenge proves to provide great benefits and we hope you have all experienced positive changes over the past 7 weeks of the 10 Week Wellness Challenge. As we enter the final few weeks of the challenge, it is important to keep your focus and to not give up early. Hopefully this challenge is allowing you to incorporate healthy habits into your lifestyle that you can continue well beyond the 10 weeks.
The excitement and motivation you and your teammates had at the beginning of the challenge may have declined and plateaued some over the past few weeks and it’s time to kick it into gear and finish strong! Remember why you made this decision to live a healthy lifestyle – to keep up with your kids or grand kids, to lower your blood pressure or cholesterol, to sleep better, to wear a smaller size, to run a 5K – whatever your goals may be, you have done a great job so far and you are so close to reaching them!
Take time this week to reflect on how far you have come, how good you feel and focus on what you need to do to continue to progress to reach your goals. Think about all of the changes you have made in your lifestyle and how you will maintain them beyond the 10 Week Wellness Challenge. Remember – you are worth the effort!
