We are making our way through week 9 of the 10 Week Wellness Challenge and you are doing an amazing job! You have worked so hard making a conscious effort to eat more fruits and vegetables, drink more water, take your lunch to work, take the stairs, try out new classes at your local fitness center and make other healthy and active choices throughout each day. Making a lifestyle change is not easy and throughout this challenge we have all needed to lean on a family member, friend or co-worker for strength and motivation. These people are your support system, cheering you on and there to congratulate you for every success you have and will achieve.
Have you ever received a compliment and felt embarrassed or just responded like it wasn’t a big deal? Why keep your successes to yourself? Don’t be shy to share your achievements with others. Be proud of the hard work and dedication you have given to your goals to become a healthier person. Those you share your achievements with will likely congratulate you, motivating you to keep up the good work and may become part of your support system as well. You may even inspire them to set their own personal wellness goals and you can become part of their support system!
