LHI Tip of the Week – No “I” in “Team”


Celebrate making it halfway through the challenge by getting together for a healthy team potluck during lunch at work or have a healthy picnic at a park for dinner. Schedule a time this week to meet for a walk. Send your teammates an encouraging message on the message board. If you’re a team captain, recognize team members who have the most steps, have recorded each week or are the most motivating. You can even reach out to other teams in your workplace, neighborhood or community to get together to celebrate your progress!

Whatever your team decides to do, be sure to continue working towards your goals, increasing your daily steps and encouraging your team members. Don’t forget, participants who have recorded for the first three weeks by 11:59 pm on Friday (9/27) will be eligible to win prizes! Participants who have recorded every week will be eligible to win additional prizes at the end of the challenge!
